Baby: Mommy, who is the new polar bear cub?
Mom: His chromatography left him, so he is now in our mixture. Now we are a different compound of different elements.
Baby: What's a chromatography mommy?
Mom: A seperation of mixtures. It's passing a mixture through a stationary phase to be measured.
Baby: Ooohhhhh! That's soooo coool! I want to be a chromatography!
Mom: OH NO YOU DON'T!

This is a rhyme we made to remember the difference between an element and a mixture:
Elements give us excitment because they cannot be seperated.
Compounds make us happy cause it is a pure substance made from two or more elements.
Mixtures give us smiles because it’s a combination of two or more.

Observations of a Solution:

Solution: A mixture that appears to be a single substance (homogenous) but is composed of 2 or more substances that are distribute evenly amongst each other.
